Russian artist Olya Kroytor, born in 1986 in Moscow, is working across the genres of painting, video, photography and performance. She studied in the Graphic Arts Department of the Moscow State Pedagogical University, then participated in the Moscow Museum of Modern Art’s program of Free Workshops and the Institute of Contemporary Art, Moscow. In 2016 she has won Brodsky Prize and in 2015, she was awarded Kandinsky Prize for Emerging Artist: Project of the Year for her performance Fulcrum.

Since 2011, Olya Kroytor has held solo exhibitions in Artwin Gallery, MMMA, Komnata Gallery and Regina Gallery in Moscow, A.Kasteyev State Museum of Arts in Almaty, Kazahstan, Artwin Gallery Kicik Qalart in Baku, Azerbaijan, Fabrika Zarya in Vladivostok, Russia,  Le Kremlin-Bicêtre, France,  DVORETS in St Petersburg, Russia.
